How a programme runs

  1. You agree the rule and the benefit. For example: customers in a chosen group who receive their salary into their account earn a monthly data allowance, unlocked in four weekly steps.

  2. You send qualifying events. Your systems tell Aura when a customer in the programme does the qualifying thing. You decide what data leaves your systems; the rule should need as little as possible.

  3. Aura checks each event against the rule. Aura records who qualified, for which period, and what they earned.

  4. Aura delivers the data. Each earned step is provisioned to the customer’s number on the network they already use, and followed to a confirmed result, as with any purchase.

  5. The cycle repeats. Customers keep earning for as long as they keep qualifying. When they stop, the data stops.

  6. You get reports. Who qualified, what was delivered, what it cost, and how the group compares with a matched group that was not offered the plan.

  • A way to send qualifying events, in near real time or as a regular batch.
  • Your customers’ mobile numbers for the people in the programme.
  • A place to receive delivery results, if you want to show them in your own app or messages.

The details are agreed with your technical contact when a programme is designed.
