Delivery confirmation

successful means one thing: the network confirmed the bundle was credited to the number. Being accepted by Aura, or being sent to the network, is not enough. Until the network confirms, the purchase stays pending.

  • delivery.confirmed_at is when the network confirmed the credit.
  • delivery.network_reference is the network’s own reference for the credit, when the network provides one. Keep it: it is what the network’s support team asks for if a customer disputes a delivery.
  • Tell the customer the data is on its way once you have a 201.
  • Tell them it has arrived only once the purchase is successful.
  • If it fails, tell them it did not go through and that they were not charged for it.

When a customer says the data never arrived

Section titled “When a customer says the data never arrived”
  1. Find the purchase by your reference with List purchases.
  2. If it is successful, check the number matches the customer’s and share network_reference with your technical contact, who raises it with the network.
  3. If it is failed or reversed, the customer was not credited and you were not charged.
  4. If it is pending, it will be final by resolve_by.
