Core concepts

Network. A mobile network that Aura can buy data on, in one country. Each network object carries its live status: operational, degraded or unavailable.

Bundle. A data allowance on one network: an amount of data, a validity period, and your contracted price. The bundles available to your account come from List bundles.

Purchase. One bundle bought for one phone number. A purchase starts pending and reaches a final state: successful, failed, or, rarely, reversed. See Transaction lifecycle.

Reference. Your own unique ID for a purchase. Aura never buys twice for the same reference, which makes every purchase request safe to retry. See Idempotency and retries.

resolve_by. The latest time by which a purchase reaches a final state. A purchase the network has not confirmed by then fails with network_timeout and is not charged.

Balance. Your prepaid balance. available is what you can spend; held covers purchases still pending.

Webhook event. A signed message Aura sends to your server when a purchase reaches a final state.

Statement. One UTC day of balance movements, for reconciliation. See Lookup and reconciliation.

Sandbox. A separate environment with test keys and test numbers, where nothing is delivered or charged.
