Data Reselling

The Data Reselling API lets your systems buy a data bundle for a customer’s number, know for certain whether it arrived, and reconcile every purchase against your balance. It stands on its own: you do not need an Aura Programme or the Aura Network to use it.

How a purchase works

1. You choose a bundle from your catalogue, which carries your contracted price.
2. You create a purchase with your own reference, the phone number and the bundle.
3. Aura checks the number’s network, holds the price from your balance and sends the purchase to the network.
4. The network confirms the credit, or refuses it. Aura charges you only for confirmed credits.
5. Aura tells you the final result by webhook, and you can look it up at any time by your reference.
6. Each day’s statement lists every charge, refund and top-up, so your records and Aura’s always agree.

What you can rely on

• No double purchases. The same reference never buys twice, so retrying is always safe.
• A final answer by a known time. Every purchase carries resolve_by, the latest time it reaches a final state.
• Charged only for confirmed credits. successful means the network confirmed the bundle was credited.
• Live status in every response. Each network carries its current status and recent delivery times, and a purchase refused because a network is down says so.
